We lost our best friend, Seren, so suddenly, and our hearts are broken. Seren was only seven, but she was such a huge part of our family — playful, caring, cwtshy, and full of love. She was everything to us. When we lost her, we didn’t know what to do or how to let her go. We found Fleur Fauna Pet Crematorium, just half an hour from home, and from the first moment, Natasha was amazing. She offered us so much kindness and support and took the very best care of Seren on her final journey. When we arrived, the crematorium felt so peaceful and homely — it made it easier to leave Seren there, knowing she was comfortable. The next morning, Natasha let us know Seren was on her way, and by 3 p.m., we were able to bring her home again. We can never thank Natasha and Fleur Fauna enough for helping us say goodbye with such care and love. Yn ein calonnau am byth Seren fach. Days around the house, and nights on the sofa have been far too quiet since you left us. You have always been a joy, from the moment we brought you back in a toybox, to the digging in the garden, to the hair on every item of clothing we have ever worn. (We’re still not free of the hair, and I’m not sure we ever want to be.) We’ll always love you Bilbo, and you’ll always have a place with us. Until we meet again.

There was no time for a proper goodbye, you left too soon. My favourite hello and hardest goodbye. Love you always my little shadow. Xx

It was imperative to us that Buster was given dignity and care in his final moments, reflecting the love and affection he had received throughout the 10 years we were fortunate to have him after rescuing him. We cannot speak highly enough of Fleur Fauna. From the very first telephone call to the WhatsApp messages, both Natasha and James were nothing short of fantastic. Their kindness, professionalism, and empathy shone through at every stage. The premises are sympathetically decorated, atmosphere calming, and their gentle nature made an incredibly difficult situation manageable. We will always be grateful for the compassion and dignity they provided to Buster and to us as a family. We left Buster on Wednesday afternoon and collected him early Thursday. James stayed with him for the duration, which was most comforting. Buster was presented to us in the exact spot we had left him, in a beautiful bag with an engraved name tag. Inside was the casket, along with a certificate and a plant — a thoughtful and touching gesture that meant so much to us. We would encourage you to seek Fleur Fauna’s professional expertise when you’re going through a similar experience, you truly won’t be disappointed. They deserve every success.
